Letters to the Editors
This Just Some Guy fellow is truly mind-boggling:
"I am Just Some Average Guy. An average Joe. A commoner like you. I'm going to get the ol' hip waders down from the garage and get right to work putting this stuff where it belongs. In The Dumpster. It will not be an easy task. Like any crusader for the good of the common man (or shall I say good of the common person? Good of the common organism? Yes, good of the common organism. Anyway...) I will face adversity. Some of you will not agree with what I put into The Dumpster, and you are entitled to your opinion. I am not here to use this space as a forum for my opinions, but rather to show you the correct opinions. I am merely showing you the correct path to take at certain forks in that overly cliched highway of life. If you choose to take a different path, that is your decision."
Has anyone bothered trying to tell him that the crusades were not only hypocritical, self-serving, and propagandistic, but that they failed? He says he's on a crusade. . . I'd hate to think of one of your friends is hypocritical, self-serving, and propagandistic, but he use the word, not I . . . Plus, what are people to think of others that don't own up to their work by using their true name? And where does he get off saying he's a commoner just like me? If there's one thing I've learned, there's always someone worse off, and whenever someone looks down from their Huey Long/Newt Gingrich/George Wallace-demagogue high horse and says "I'm just like you," it's forecasting trouble. . .
Just a thought . . . and all IMHO.

Response to Letter
OK, you normally read a letter to the editor in a newspaper ripping a staff member, and the writer des not defend himself to the criticism. But this is no newspaper so let me pick up my pen and retort.
"I'd hate to think one of your friends is hypocritical, self-serving, and propagandistic. . ." Ya know what? I AM hypocritical, self-serving, and propagandistic. Anyone out there who tells you they are not a hypocrite is a liar. And a hypocrite for saying their not one. As for the self-serving part, I ain't in this for the money, brother, cuz there ain't no money to be made. I do this for the betterment of the world and to feed my opinion of myself that my ideas are the ones that everyone should follow.
"Plus, what are people to think of others that don't own up to their work by using their true name?" I got a few names for you in response: Mark Twain, Richard Bachman, Hulk Hogan, Bitch and Moan, Bozo the Clown, and porn star Misty Rain. If you think these are all their real names, I've got this great religion to tell you about where you get to join the spaceship hiding behind Hale-Bopp.
Just my retort to this critic. Note, I didn't throw HIM in the
dumpster, although I certainly reserve the right to. But, I encourage you to
write me and rip me or applaud me, whichever you choose. I can't guarantee that everyone
will be responded to, but who knows? You may get lucky.
